Ekk! I love these! These make me even more excited for Jeannie and Jasper’s wedding in August! Jeanie and Jasper met while working overseas and now they live in Georgetown (how cool are they?!) I was so proud of myself that I drove into DC and found a FREE (and legal) parking spot for their session although I was very much distracted by all the fun stores and wanted to stop! It’s so easy to see how cute they are! They were up for anything, at one point I asked Jeannie to climb in a tree and she jumped right up! Enjoy and thank you guys so much and see you in August when you become Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Cooke!

I love working with high school seniors, it’s so much fun! Hiring an independent professional photographer is totally the way to go for senior photos. Not only do you actually get better photos but you can do what these guys did! Christian and Alex are cousins so they got some photos with each other. There are a million other reasons to get your senior photos done by an independent professional photographer, if you’re interested in hearing the reasons contact me and I’ll explain rather than rant here! Christian and Alex just graduated from Franklin Academy and will head on off to college in August. Thanks guys so much!
P.s. Did you know that it’s so easy to make my day? Just leave a comment!

Katy and I have been friends for a very long time and I had the sheer pleasure of photographing her and Jonathan’s wedding. I met Jonathan at their engagement session and immediately liked him (friends from way back are hard to win over!) and could tell that him and Katy were so in loooooove. Their cute little looks to each other on their wedding day was such a pleasure for me to capture!
Ok, and how cool is their wedding?! The venue was an organic restaurant in Lovettsville, Virginia: Potamac Farm. They had fiesta colored dishes as the table decor and their flowers were so beautiful! I went a little overboard photographing them because I couldn’t get enough of the beautiful flowers! Katy also had the most gorgeous dress she and her mom bought at a bridal boutique in NYC. Everyone kept warning me that Jonathan did NOT like being photographed, for the most part Katy and him just had fun and I photographed them! I don’t think I tortured him…too much!

Lately I’ve had a lot of newborns that aren’t the first ones in their family! That makes me so happy because the youngest (speaking from experience!) gets left out of photo ops!
The Huffman’s welcomed their third little one on May 20 at 2:34pm weighing in at 8lbs 2oz! What a great name!! I think she looks so much like their oldest, Silas. She was so cooperative for her shoot, she even had the most perfect bum tuck that was awesome! Congrats Huffman’s!

May 11th Mollie Gage finally decided it was her day! Everyone was so excited that now the Reed’s have 2 girls and 2 boys. How fun is the middle name Gage? It’s Jacelyn’s Mom’s name, who I got to meet. Thanks to Kate, their oldest, who provided a very girlie room for the shoot! I loved seeing their kids so excited to show me Mollie, especially their youngest who kept telling me “Baby!” Congrats to the Reed family!

With the hat vs. without the hat. No preference at all on Mollie’s part
